How long does it take to make a fibreglass pools?

We can make you a pool in 2 weeks. We manufacture locally so we can get you any of our colours quickly. There's no more waiting for the ship to arrive from Australia or China.

In-ground pools vs above-ground pools

We offer both in-ground and above-ground pools. The difference between an above-ground pool and an in-ground pool is the structural support required. When a pool is in the ground, the earth supports the side pressure from the water in the pool. When a pool is above the ground, we need to add additional supports. We do this during the manufacturing process.

How deep are fibreglass pools?

We have a wide range of sizes available so there is an excellent chance we'll have something that meets your needs.

Are fibreglass pools better than concrete?

Both fibreglass and concrete pools are designed to last a lifetime. What makes fibreglass pools better is the gel coating doesn't support bacterial growth and they don't require costly maintenance and resurfacing every few years.

Are fibreglass pools good?

How long do fibreglass pools last?

Fibreglass pools typically last the longest of any other pool construction method without needing to be resurfaced. Our warranty lasts longer than the typical Kiwi owns a house (25 years) and we expect the pool to last much longer than that.

What warranties do I have with my pool should something happen?

All pools are covered by our 25 year structural warranty and the gel coat is covered by our 10 year warranty. Come talk to us if you have any concerns whatsoever.

What about permits and consents do I need when installing a pool?

Building consent (and sometimes resource consent) may be required. Our installers usually lodge these on your behalf and can work with you through the process.

Salt-water pools generate natural chlorine, which reduces bleaching of clothes and hair, lessens skin and eye irritation, eliminates the need to buy and store chlorine, and cuts down on chemical-balancing time.

What is the process of purchasing a NZ Swimming Pool?

A sales specialist visits your site to discuss the best model and location. You receive a full written quote; once accepted, our installers help you work through the design and permitting process. Once any necessary permits are grant, installation proceeds.

Will my swimming pool fade?

As with all fibreglass pools, some fading is inevitable over many many years. Fading is usually only noticeable when an original colour swatch is held against the pool after years of service. We guarantee our colours for 10 years. And we have special coatings designed to be heated upto 35 degrees.

How long does it take to manufacture my pool?

We can have the pool delivered in 1 to 4 weeks. If you're thinking of getting a pool, talk to us and we'll be able to give you a general timeframe.

Can you use salt-water alternatives?

Yes. Two main options gaining popularity in New Zealand are: 1. Ozone, which oxidises the water and greatly reduces chlorine use. 2. Freshwater systems, which use a small amount of salt to produce fresh-feeling water.

Can fibreglass pools be salt water?

Yes, salt is actually one of the best ways to look after a fibreglass pool.

How long will it take to install my pool?

Once a pool is delivered, installation typically takes just one to two days.

Why choose a fibreglass swimming pool?
